A musical treat

Queens of the Stone Age at the Zagreb Fair

This year’s open-air concert season in Zagreb will begin with a real musical treat – a performance by one of the most renowned rock bands, Queens of the Stone Age, who will hold a concert on June 10th at the Zagreb Fair as part of the INmusic Festival which will take place between June 23rd and 26th and feature some of the biggest names from the global music scene.
The Zagreb gig will be part of the Queens of the Stone Age tour during which they are promoting their latest album – “Like Clockwork”, released in 2013. The group was formed in 1997 after the breakup of Kyuss, the original band of lead singer Josh Homme. They gained popularity among fans and critics alike with their first hit-single, “If Only”. Over the years, many renowned musicians, such as Dave Grohl and Mark Lanegan, have played with the band, while the list of musicians who performed as guests on their latest album includes Jon Theodore, Nick Olivieri, Alex Turner, Jake Shears and Elton John.
The Queens of the Stone Age embarked on the tour, which continues this year, after the release of their latest album which made it to number one on the Billboard Top 200 list.
