A November Event

Worldwide Summit of Presidents of Travel Agencies

Between November 6th and 8th, Zagreb will host the Second Worldwide Summit of Presidents of Travel Agencies. The event will gather more than 300 participants, leaders of associations of travel agencies, representatives of the global tourist industry and leading experts and scientists. The Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Taleb Rifai, has also announced his arrival in Zagreb for the occasion.
The organiser of the event   is the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies (UHPA) in partnership with the Croatian Tourism Board and the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb. The congress will be held under the name “Vision 2020 - Global Changes and the Future of Travel Agencies” as a forum for exchanging opinions on topical subjects, the changes currently affecting the global tourism industry and their influence on the operations of travel agencies, as well as discussing new trends and opportunities for further development. During the event,   the Croatian travel industry representatives will have plenty of opportunities to meet with their current and potential partners from other countries, to establish new business connections and enhance the already existing ones. It will also be an excellent promotional opportunity for Zagreb and Croatia.
The First Worldwide Summit of Travel Agency Presidents was held in Cordoba, Spain in 2013.
More information about the congress can be found on the internet pages of the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies at www.uhpa.hr.
